You don’t need to be an art historian to name 5 men artists. They are all over us in popular culture. But in 2021, concepts like 'women artists' are still necessary. 5% of artists in the Modern Art section of the MET are women, but 85% of the nudes are female.

This website is a step forward to learn about the other side of art and the untold stories of women artists through history that made huge contributions to the world of art, and in return were forgotten from the big conversations. Today we celebrate their lives, their work, and the power of their art.
